Our Chair, Vivek Kothari, has built his career around supporting people who bring forward claims under the False Claims Act and related whistleblower statutes. We work with clients from coast to coast, handling cases that span government contractor fraud, customs violations, Medicare billing fraud, and emerging technological issues including AI and algorithmic misconduct.

Vivek’s foundation in law enforcement began during his tenure as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he spearheaded major investigations and prosecutions targeting public corruption, cybercrime, and organized crime. Before his legal career, Vivek’s work at NASA provided him with deep technical knowledge in science and technology, creating a powerful advantage when handling today’s increasingly complex, data-heavy fraud cases.

Vivek’s professional excellence was acknowledged when he earned finalist status for U.S. Attorney for Oregon, reflecting his respected standing within the legal profession. Our litigation efforts have generated substantial financial recoveries for clients, while Vivek has simultaneously championed justice through extensive pro bono initiatives. He played a founding role in creating the Oregon Clemency Project and holds the distinction of being Oregon’s sole attorney member of The Anti-Fraud Coalition.
